30 Days of Shipping Challenge - Day Nine: Most believable relationship.
♥Ororo Munroe & Thor Odison: Two super heroes that control lightning, are considering gods and have have casual conversations. They are believable, to be honest. If you don’t count the fact that in another universe, they’ve had smack downs and his brother wanted her as his queen, hey, they’re perfect. I think Ororo and Thor can really speak each other’s language. When I say that, I mean they have that same level of understanding. And that’s why they are given the chance to work out in this particular universe. And, I can’t really lie, Ororo can have a believable relationship with anyone.
30 Day Shipping Challenge - Day Eight: The pairing with the most baggage.
♥Sakura Haruno & Naruto Uzumaki: For reasons beyond my knowledge, these two go through so much shit. But Naruto goes through the most: he holds the most powerful being inside him and with that comes a deep hatred towards him. People have shunned him for years. And to add to it, he falls in love with Sakura, who really doesn’t like him at first. But they’re placed on the same team anyway, with their beloved friend Sasuke. She loves Sasuke and thus begins the most heartbreaking triangle of my childhood. Despite everything, Naruto basically lives for the both of them and makes this Promise of a Lifetime! vow to Sakura to save Sasuke and bring him back. It breaks her because she suddenly knows he’ll really do anything for her. And there’s so much throw into their lives. She even tries killing Sasuke (who has turned evil for now) to save both her friends. It’s depressing and we hardly ever get closure for anything since this is shounen and romance is not something to focus on. But I’ve never been so sure about a pairing before—I know they’ll happen, if either one of them live. ( ;___; )
30 Days of Shipping Challenge - Day Seven: The most heartbreaking scene.
♥Rukia Kuchiki & Ichigo Kurosaki: In all honestly, they have a lot of heartbreaking scenes. When the monster who killed his mother got away and he collapsed onto her and all she could say is, “I’m glad you’re still alive.” When he was being killed by her brother and she had to step in and pretend she didn’t care to save his life. When he flew in to see her standing on the bridge. When she decided to stay in her home and he let her go. When he knelt over her as she lay there, unconscious and bleeding because she had come to his rescue and he couldn’t save her. When she was forced to leave him when they both had planned to save their friend. When she nearly dies and he senses it, ready to turn down a fight in order to save her. And I know I’m forgetting about ten others. But this takes the cake only because this is their goodbye. They’re standing in the same place where she had given him her powers and now he has to lose them. She has changed his life and she’s been so important to him. They’ve never really said goodbye that way before. And you can see Rukia expects him to say something other than that because there’s always been that “Until next time.” But there isn’t. And he’s defeated. And all she can say is, ” Okay.” There’s much left unsaid between them, but in some ways, they don’t need to say anything because they’ve always understood. But he still says, “Thank you,” as she fades away.
30 Days of Shipping Challenge - Day Six: The best kiss.
♥Mercedes Jones & Sam Evans: Let’s get something straight: I hate Glee. It’s almost pointless; it’s offensive and refuses to address huge problematic issues they’ve created. Despite all that, they’ve managed to produce one thing that I cherish: this couple right here. They started out secretly dating but his family had to move away and they broke up. However, Sam manages to come back on his own and finds Mercedes has moved on. He spends most of the third season trying desperately to get her back. They go through obstacles, stumbling their way to each other again, proving their relationship to be pretty damn amazing. He sees her as this amazing and beautiful star, something she’s seen in herself, and he does what he can to help her dream along. This kiss was what won me over. It was a huge build up and I loved it.
30 Days of Shipping Challenge - Day Five: The pairing with the least chemistry.
♥London Tipton & Zack/Cody Martin: Now, Brenda Song has chemistry with anyone she’s with, however this show dumbed her character down so much that she wasn’t really allowed to have chemistry with anyone at all. Watching the show growing up, I wanted London to end up with either one of the twins. Zack was more of her level: they were mischievous, nearly matching IQ scores and went on small adventures together. Cody, on the other hand, cared for London in a sense that he was usually looking out for her feelings regarding issues when her father figure, Moseby, couldn’t. I’d like to think she got with one of them after the series ended.
30 Days of Shipping Challenge - Day Four: The pairing with the most chemistry.
♥Blair Waldorf & Dan Humphrey: Yes, I used this meme as an excuse to gif them making out. I am unashamed. Anyway, Blair has been born with a silver spoon in her mouth—she’s entitled and quite literally the Queen of the Upper East Side. Enter Dan Humphrey, middle class, self-righteous and dubbed Lonely Boy. They are polar opposites in mostly everything. The only thing keeping them tolerate of each other’s spaces is a common friend. Except…without the common friend, they suddenly find themselves drawn to each other through interests. And they find out they’re not too different after all. And their kisses are the hottest, omfg. Anyhow, no one’s allowed to tell me they ever broke up, sorry. They didn’t. LOL, what finale? It ended when they decided they were a team. Whatchu talkin’ ‘bout?
